Tahera - Artisan Bird Nester

Beautifully handmade, the Tahera features a colourful teardrop design to offer a smaller cavity perfect for small garden birds who roost alone. Made to the highest quality with natural seagrass and recycled saris, the nester has a small round entrance reinforced with steel and a slightly protruding edge to make it easier for birds to land and perch. The Fair Trade, sustainable nester offers a super cosy place during harsh winters and the ideal nesting environment in springtime. Featuring a sturdy inner frame to support it with strong metal hooks and a long loop to ensure the nester can be properly secured, it's perfect for siting in natural leaf cover and vegetation such as ivy, and hedges, bushes and trees.

Each nester is different and unique in colour, with each artisan choosing the colourful recycled sari pattern.

In a barn in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, the Wildlife World team have been designing award-winning unique wildlife products for years. The range of insect, bird and mammal homes are ideal for back gardens or conservation centres. They're durable, constructed from solid FSC sustainable timber, recycled plastic and reclaimed saris. Finished with water-based paints, they are safe for all animals and almost good enough for us humans to move into too!
