Its estimated approximately 100,000 used tyres are removed from cars daily (www.environmental-agency.gov.uk) in the UK alone. Complete tyres being thrown into landfill was banned in 2003, and shredded tyres were banned from landfill in 2006. There are countless piles of used tyres stacked up and illegally dumped around the country. This set of recycled tyre photo frame handcrafted in the UK, where the traditional art and craft skills are dying out due to modernisation.

The photo frame is lovely! The black of the tactile tyre edging alongside the proportions for the photo are great and draw the eye in to the subject.
Ingenious idea for an old tyre. the frame looks great too.
