French Truffle Tree

Adopt a French Truffle Tree for one year, with this adoption pack. The package includes the yearly maintenance of an Oak or Hazel tree which has been inoculated with perigord truffle spores. Each year the truffles will be harvested and sent to you (small fee applies), or sold on your behalf with the proceeds being sent to you. Each adopter will receive a numbered ownership certificate for their tree. After the first year, the annual maintenance charge will be £30, organised directly with the supplier. Please note it can take a number of years for the tree to start producing its first truffles! Trees normally take between 4-10 years to start producing truffles, and a single tree typically produces between £30 - £440/year! This product can not be cancelled once purchased.

Packaged with the environment in mind, your order will be wrapped in items which are easy for you to recycle - cardboard, shredded paper, biodegradable tissue paper etc. We re-use packaging & boxes from our suppliers where possible. It may on occasion be that some products, such as lanterns, include polystyrene to ensure they get delivered to you in once piece. Please ensure you reuse or recycle the packaging where possible.

Located in the Charente, S.W. France, with the perfect conditions for growing the Perigord Truffle. Our trees were inoculated with the spores of Tuber Melanosporum known as the The French Perigord Truffle or Black Diamonds. They're making it possible for you, your family, your clients and your loved ones to adopt, and enjoy the rewards of truffles! With a planned planting of atleast 500 trees each year, some of these are available for adoption!
