Nalbari Pizza Board

Nalbari Pizza Board

Nalbari pizza boards are skilfully assembled using segments of sustainable mango wood. The natural variation in the colours make a lovely patchwork effect. They can be used as chopping boards, or sharing platters for antipasti or pizzas. Complete with leather tie for easy storage. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse & dry after use. Maintain and nourish with an olive or walnut oil to the surface.

Why am I Eco?

When harvested correctly, mango wood is a sustainable source. Once the tree reaches a certain age, it will no longer bear fruits. Its an this point the trees are removed, to make space for new plantations. Where the fruits were the initial reason for growth, the wood carving has provided a secondary income to many Indian families.
