All about Pine Cone Firelighters

Now that winter is drawing ever closer, many of us around the UK are finally giving in to our coldness, firing up our heating.

For those who are lucky enough to have an open fire, it can be tricky to find environmentally friendly ways to fuel the fire. This is where we are here to help.

We are proud to stock Kindle Cones, an all natural and sustainable approach to having an open fire in  your home.

What is a Kindle Cone?

Kindle Cones are scented pine cone firelighters. They are delightfully eco-friendly having been made with 100% soy wax and even packaged in an eco-friendly cardboard box too.

Gentle on the environment, that doesn’t mean that a Kindle Cone isn’t able to get a fire started. In fact, they can make sure that you have a blazing fire in a matter of minutes.

Why are they so great?

Not only are Kindle Cones designed to get your fire going. They are also made to be a display item too. They can be popped in display bowl or simply on the mantelpiece, filling the room with an amazing scent.

All before it even makes its way to the fire.

What cones do we stock?

Here at Protect the Planet we have a variety of different options for your Kindle Cone purchase. It really does depend on what you would like your fire, log burner or garden chimenea to smell like.

Spring Meadow- Lavender oil, lavender flower heads, rosemary, thyme and marjoram. For a meadow fresh scent!

Summer Garden- If you are missing summer than this Kindle Cone may just give you the floral scent that you are looking for. Honeysuckle and jasmine are the two main fragrances running through this particular cone.

Autumn Mist- Musky and rich. This Autumn inspired Kindle Cone is perfect for those who love Halloween, Bonfire night and the sight of the leaves falling from the trees. Patchouli, heather and mandarin make for the ideal combination.

Winter Spice- Who doesn’t love the smell of the festive season? With this Kindle Cone you can cuddle up next to the fire with the smells of Christmas all around you. Frankincense, sandalwood, bergamot and ylang ylang come together perfectly.

Thinking that a Kindle Cone is the ideal purchase for your home? Then, you are not alone. We love these magical firelighters and the natural addition they make to your home.

Every single Kindle Cone that we sell is handmade within the UK. Not only are they amazing items to buy as a treat, or a special gift but they will even save you having to use any chemical fire lighters for use in your home.
